PROGRAMS / INTERNATIONAL TRAINING CAMPS

Train beyond the familiar

International Training Camps extend the Academy’s year-round training into new environments, providing athletes with focused opportunities to adapt, test established routines, and apply their training in unfamiliar competitive settings.

Camps are integrated into the Academy’s longer-term Performance Development pathway when they support an athlete’s goals, readiness, and preparation for higher-level competition.

WHY CAMPS MATTER

Different environments build adaptability

International camps are more than training in a different location. They give athletes purposeful exposure to unfamiliar conditions before those conditions matter most in competition, broadening their experience and developing greater adaptability over time.

01

Adapt to new settings

Each new environment demands meticulous preparation and deliberate technical and tactical decisions, challenging athletes to adapt their approach while preserving consistency in execution.

02

Focused training

Camps create concentrated periods for dedicated coaching, reflection, and targeted development, allowing athletes to address specific priorities in depth and carry those gains into year-round training and competition.

03

Compete at a higher level

International camps can place athletes in stronger competitive environments, including opportunities to train alongside and compete against world-class international athletes – exposure that can begin well before an athlete reaches the national-team level.

WHO IT’S FOR

For athletes ready to train beyond the familiar

International Training Camps are best suited to athletes with established foundations and consistent training who are ready to adapt to new environments, test their routines, and prepare for more demanding competition.

THE PATHWAY

How camps fit into training

International camps complement year-round Performance Development. They are used when training and competition in new environments can support an athlete’s current goals and preparation for higher-level competition.
