STARTING FROM ZERO

Your first clay target should come with a coach

A good first experience is about much more than pulling a trigger. The coach introduces the range, the equipment and the safety expectations, then builds the movement step by step so you can focus on learning rather than guessing.

01

Safety & equipment

Learn how the range works, how the shotgun is handled safely, and how the equipment supports a comfortable first session.

02

Position, mount, vision & movement

Build the fundamentals that help you move naturally with a flying target instead of trying to aim at it like a stationary one.

03

Break targets and build confidence

The goal is a safe, enjoyable introduction that gives you a real feel for the sport and a sound foundation if you decide to continue.

WHAT DOES “SHOOT CLAYS” MEAN?

Clay shooting is the family. Olympic trap is our discipline.

People often search for clay shooting, trap shooting, skeet shooting or simply “learn to shoot clays” before they know the differences. They are all clay-target sports, but each has its own target presentations and technique. The Academy specializes in Olympic trap, the international discipline contested at the Olympic Games.
